Speech-language pathologists assist children with a variety of language disorders. Language disorders can occur when a child has trouble understanding others (receptive language), or sharing thoughts, ideas, and feelings (expressive language). Our speech-language pathologists use their expertise to address the needs of children who have difficulties producing speech sounds as well as those with swallowing and feeding difficulties. Pediatric Therapy’s speech therapists conduct detailed screenings, evaluations, and individualized treatment plans for children with a variety of developmental disabilities. The interventions utilized by our speech-language pathologists are fun and interactive so your child will enjoy therapy while accomplishing their individualized speech goals. Our speech-language pathologists have the expertise, diagnostic tools and treatment methods to help children develop strong speech and language skills, which will help them excel at home, in the classroom, and in the community.
